Jägermeister is a type of liqueur, introduced in 1935. Alcohol by volume: 35%. But this is Four Boars Garage, so let’s see this kind of liqueur brand in car racing…
From the 1970’s Jagermeister started to sponsore racing teams, at the beggining BMW’s and Porsche’s. This one on the picture above is the Jagermeister Alpina CSL, it looks like a Batmobil.
Another brutal machinery. BMW 320 turbo, from the 1979 DRM (Deutsche Rennsport Meisterschaft) series. This bastard beated the legendery Zakspeed Ford Capri in 1979.
The third Bimmer is a1979 Korman-built turbocharged 633CSI, putting 340 horsepower down to the ground…
And the last BMW. One of my favorite cars, the1992 E30 M3, from the Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft (DTM).
The 1982 DRM Zakspeed Ford Capri produced 370 BHP. These cars ran through the legendary Nurburgring Nordschleife in les than 8 minutes.
We have three Jagermeister Porsche’s here today. This is the Max Moritz Porsche 934 from the 1977 DRM.
The 935 K3. This bastard made the Kremer a famous name in motorsports history.
The last Porsche is the 1986 World Sportscar Championship winner Group C monster, from Brun Motorsport. Here i’d like to mention, that the fastest lap ever on the Nurburgring Nordschleife (20832 meters length in 6:11:13), is recorded by Stefan Bellof, in a Porsche 956 in 1983.
In Formula 1, Jagermeister teamed up with March Engineering. This one is a Cosworth engined March, with Hans-Joachim Stuck at the wheel (1976).
The last car, is the EuroBrun ER189, with Judd V8 engine, which couldn’t take a point in the F1 Championship from 1988-1990, but somehow it’s still makes me wanna drive it.
